D3BI is the innovative new tandem by Sky Country. Based on DiSCovery3 design we created new dynamic and modern wing, which can be used by a huge range of tandem pilots.
As usually, most of tandem passangers expect for different feelings from flight. Some of them are happy from slow and straight flight, exploring country from altitude, another passenger prefer extreme and dynamic aerobatics. But in any way, tandem glider take-off and landing must be insured safe.
Manoeuvrability or reliability? .. D3BI is a compromise. The high maneuverability is sufficent enough for passengers loving extreme flights, the same time take-off and landing are as easy, as the school glider has.
Modern design
D3BI was designed basing on DiSCovery3 glider. This results in high enough aspect ratio, as for tandem glider, and aerodynamically clear wing. We decided not to close cellsпїЅпїЅ because simple and easy start for tandem is quite more important, than performance on higher speed. The same time D3Bi manoeuvrability is similar or even higher than many single-seat paragliders.
