In developing the new motor wing we have been paying attention not only to high-speed range (which increased to 2-3 kmph), but also to the wing controllability, as well as its launch and landing characteristics. The behavior of the glider was evaluated in terms of both experienced and not very experienced pilot.
We do not recommend Moscito-2 for the training, but selecting it as a second motor wing will be a good choice. One of the pros of the wing is a very easy launch, even in calm conditions.
Leading edge of Moscito2 is reinforced with plastic lines, which made it lighter, easier to launch, increased aerodynamic efficiency at high speeds. Total lines length is significantly reduced comparing to first-gen Moscito - this has also influenced improving wing's aerodynamic efficiency.
As well as the first generation Mosquito, a new wing has excellent maneuverability and precision control.
Even still being in pre-series state, Moscito-2 took the first place in Ukrainian Championship of 2011, and took part in the flight Kharkov-Crimea.
